The Honda Jazz

The Honda Jazz is one of the most popular cars in all of Europe. It is a small car, as are most in Europe, and it has a 4-litre engine that gets excellent petrol milage. The Jazz was first introduced in 1984 in Europe and it was an immediate success.

The newer models in particular have sold extremely well. For example, the 2002 model sold over 2 million units worldwide, over 160,000 of them in the UK. Honda Jazz cars remain the top selling minis in England today.

When it comes to this brand of car though, your options are somewhat limited. There are only three Honda Jazz models on the market today. All of them have petrol-engine motors and the standard models are quite affordable.

Another reason the Honda Jazz is one of the most popular cars in its class is due to its exemplary safety ratings. This allows owners to receive substantial discounts on their insurance rates. The Jazz also does a great job retaining its value and has some of the best resale rates on the market today.

One slight variation to recent models that is well worth mentioning is that the fuel tank has been relocated. It is now positioned beneath the front seats, which frees up room in the back seat and gives the Honda Jazz one of the largest cabins of any mini out there.

But buyers should beware — this new fuel tank and engine can make servicing and pit stops expensive.
